Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub (NATH)
Training hubs are designed to meet the educational needs of the primary and community care workforce, and bring together NHS organisations, community providers and Local Authorities. Training Hubs are a key enabler of the primary care workforce strategy described in the NHS Long Term Plan and recognised as such by Health Education England, NHS England, NHS Improvement, and the Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System. The Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub (NATH) is rooted in its localities.
In March 2022, NATH fund the Primary Care Zone, where school students in the East and West Midlands connect with healthcare workers throughout the Primary Care sector.
Previous Zones funded by NATH: Primary Care Zone in June and July 2021, General Practice Zone in March 2018, General Practice Zone in November 2017, and the General Practice Zone in June 2017.
Midland Faculty RCGP
In March 2022, Midland Faculty RCGP fund the Primary Care Zone, where school students in the East and West Midlands connect with healthcare workers throughout the Primary Care sector.
Health Education England (HEE)
Health Education England (HEE) is the vehicle for providers and professionals, working as part of NHS Health Education England, to improve the quality of education and training outcomes so that they meet the needs of service providers, patients and the public. Through HEE, health and public health providers will have strong input into the development of national strategies and priorities so education and training can adapt quickly to new ways of working and new models of service.
Previous Zones funded by HEE: Mental Health Zone and Primary Care Zone in January 2019.
